A New name for the PTA

At this year’s AGM it was proposed and agreed to change the name of the PTA to: Friends of Levens School.

This is to reflect the fundraising help that comes form both families at the school and the wider community. So, if you see information regarding “Friends of Levens School” in the future, you’ll know what it is about.

As you will have seen from recent newsletters, the Christmas Fair is in Saturday Nov 26th 2 - 4 pm and after half term we will be asking for the following items to be donated:

Soft toys
Raffle Prizes
Tombola prizes
Toys
Cakes

We’ll also need parents, friends and families to volunteer to help on the day itself. We’ll put a list up in the foyer to sign up to, even if it is only for an hour it makes a huge difference to the day.

Last year the Christmas fair raised over £1200 which went towards extra funds for the children at school; it’s the biggest event of the year! It would be great if you could help out in any way you can. Many thanks.
