Arriving at School

Y6 Leavers Party!
Last night we had an amazing time giving our year six leavers a night to remember at Levens School. For the very first time in Levens history our Leavers’ treat involved watching a favourite film whilst enjoying a take-away pizza, crisps to share and refreshing lemonade. Later we enjoyed a visit from an ice cream van before we embarked on a mad dash around our playground in our crazy water fight!! It was such fun, but exhausting!! As you can see from our photographs – some of us are wetter than others!!
Cory and Hector’s Creative Challenge!
A couple of weeks ago, Cory in Reception came up with a challenge where he thought everybody should do a fun creative project all at the same time! Whilst doing it all at the same time would have been a little tricky, we still asked everyone to spend an hour working on a challenge which was to be based on the theme of the seaside. Here are the results, well done everybody! Don’t worry if you haven’t had chance to do yours yet or send in the photos, we can always add more!
Edit: Hector also emailed me with a challenge for the children; to build a life-sized lighthouse! We decided that would probably be a little tricky so instead we altered the challenge slightly to a lighthouse the same height as yourself. More brilliant work Reception, well done!
