The very last of our three challenges over recent weeks really seems to have ignited plenty of imagination.
We have chocolate pizzas, hotdog pizzas, and barbecue pizzas!
Well done everyone, including parents who no doubt had to tidy up afterwards. Mrs Mason has a nice surprise for all entrants this week to welcome you back to school.
Drool worthy photos attached.
Lots of the staff in school have been dressing up this week as part of our World Book Day celebrations. Can you work out who we are?
Let us know who you think we are when you return to school on Monday and don’t forget to send us your photographs for our display in the hall too!
Well, after all that running we deserved a sweet treat challenge, hence our wonderful cupcake entries, everyone different and very gorgeous.
Mrs Mason will again be highlighting her favourites this week and for those who participate in any of our foodie challenges (providing photographic evidence of course), there will be a special treat awaiting for you on your return to school on 8th March.
It isn’t too late to get involved – we have ‘pizza designing’ next week, so get stuck in and be part of this ‘cook and share’ fun!
Pictures for you to drool over are attached…….
Well, everyone certainly got totally involved in the challenge set over the holidays to the extent that we have given our adjudicator a headache trying to determine her very favourites. Does she opt for flipping skills, artistic design, novelty, or just the ones that make mouths water…..we will need to see.
Either way there will be a certificate of achievement for all budding cooks and look out for a new cooking challenge to take us to our return to school very soon.
Photos of genuine scrumminess are included for your delight!
Our children in EYFS enjoyed learning all about Chinese New Year before the half term holiday. We had some amazing creations from fortune cookies to lanterns, to junk model dragons and everything in between! We also learnt how to say ‘hello’ in Chinese, found out about the origin of the Chinese New Year story and had a go at writing our name using the Chinese alphabet.
Congratulations to everyone for superb attitude, determination and being prepared to brave the cold, snow and ice in the final week of the official challenge!
Everyone seems to have enjoyed it enormously, there is a wonderful display in the foyer of all your pictures for you to celebrate when you return to school, which we hope is very soon.
This week we had superheroes in the mix, spot them if you can.
Medals are on order for the fabulous ‘Team Levens’ – keep running!
