We are delighted to announce the details of our end of term trip to see a performance of Cinderella at The Dukes Theatre in Lancaster on Friday 4th December. This festive outing is always a highlight of the school year, and we are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to all pupils from Reception to Year 6.
We will make arrangements to eat a packed lunch after the performance, so a hearty breakfast beforehand would be ideal. The trip will take place during the school day and school will start and end as normal.
To help the day run smoothly, we ask that all children bring a nut-free packed lunch from home, along with a named bottle of water. Children should wear their normal school uniform.
Transport will be provided by hired coaches. Please do not send any sweets or additional snacks, as during the interval each child will be offered either an ice cream or a fruit sorbet. Taking in to account any allergy information we currently hold, children will be asked to choose their preferred option in advance. If you do not wish your child to receive either of these refreshments, please let the school office know.
We are very pleased to share that FOLS have once again kindly agreed to cover the full cost of transport. Their generous support has reduced the amount we need to ask parents to contribute to £12.16 per child. We are extremely grateful for the fundraising efforts of FOLS, which help make experiences such as this more affordable for our families.
Please provide your consent and make payment via ParentPay. The deadline for payment is Monday 19th October, allowing us to confirm numbers and secure tickets in good time.
Thank you for your support. We are sure the children will enjoy this wonderful festive experience.
