Class 2 – The Great Fire of London Workshop
Dear Parents and Carers,
As part of our autumn curriculum, Class 2 are learning about the Great Fire of London. To enhance this learning, we have invited Alfresco Learning to run a fun and exciting workshop.
The workshop will explore the timeline of the Great Fire of London, the key characters involved, and how this disaster made 1666 a year to remember. It will also include fact-finding activities and discussion about the events of 1666. Children will have lots of opportunities to ask questions throughout the experience.

Alfresco Learning will be visiting Class 2 in school to deliver the workshop. We are delighted that the cost of the workshop has been generously subsidised by FOLs meaning that we are only requesting a contribution of £9.65 per child. Payment should be made via Parent Pay.
If any parent or carer is concerned about making this contribution, they are invited to speak to or write to Mrs Farraday in confidence.
Yours sincerely,
Ms Chapman
