Y6 Assessment Meeting for Parents: Tuesday 21st April 2025 between 5.30-6pm
Dear Parents and carers,
Mr Dean and I would like to invite you to come into school to a meeting designed to inform you about the statutory assessments your child will be undertaking in the summer term. These meetings are designed to enable you to:
• know the content and organisation of the tests;
• understand how your child is assessed in school at the end of each key stage;
• find out how we are trying to prepare your child so that they can achieve their best without putting them through any additional pressure;
• have an opportunity to look at the test materials in each assessed area;
• hear guidance about how you can best prepare your child for these assessments;
• understand how their results will be reported to you and what they mean.
The tests occur during the second week of May:
